Who we are

A deep finance bench, without the overhead.

Large public companies have deep finance teams behind every decision. Most small and growing businesses don’t. We founded Gleeson & Co. to close that gap.

Experience across our team: Todd’s FP&A, M&A, and capital planning leadership, combined with our in-house experts’ controllership, SEC reporting, internal controls, fractional CFO skills, and finance-systems projects on Oracle, SAP, BlackLine and Workiva.

Across our team, we have led accounting and finance work for enterprises from $500M to multibillion-dollar revenue, in public-company and private equity-backed environments, and have advised CEOs, private equity sponsors, and boards. We are a family-owned firm, built for long-term, trusted-advisor relationships, and we plan to add partners and services as the businesses we serve grow.

The disciplines that let a business grow with confidence.

Cash discipline & receivables

How we work

Large-company standards, with a long-term relationship.

Large-company discipline

The controls, reporting, and planning habits of public-company and private equity-backed finance organizations, scaled to the size of your business.

Relationships, not transactions

We are a family-owned firm built for the long term, and we expect to grow alongside the businesses we serve.

Judgment when it matters

Process and software handle the routine. When a decision needs judgment, you talk to people who have made those calls at scale.

Our team

Led by Todd. Backed by experts.

Together, Todd and our in-house experts cover finance from the close and controls to planning, reporting, strategy, and M&A.

Senior talent when you need it, not payroll when you don’t. Our team scales up for the acquisition, the system launch, or the lender deadline, then steps back, so growing businesses get big-company depth at the size their stage calls for.

Founder

Todd Gleeson

Todd brings 24 years of corporate finance leadership from Primo Water (water.com), America’s leading home and office water delivery business. He rose from Senior Financial Analyst to Senior Director of Finance while the company grew from about $1B to $6B, mostly through acquisitions, under corporate, private equity and public-company ownership.

Todd led FP&A for a $2B business across three regions and worked on seven acquisitions. On those deals he shaped the models, integrated the systems after closing, and tracked revenue and customer retention to confirm each deal delivered what was promised. He also guided capital planning for plants, fleets and equipment, and served as the subject-matter expert on the company’s Oracle data warehouse.

At Gleeson & Co., Todd helps growing companies build plans and forecasts their leaders can trust, make sound capital decisions, and prepare for, evaluate and integrate acquisitions.

In-house experts

Backed by in-house experts

Todd partners with our in-house experts, a bench of senior finance professionals who support every engagement. The team includes a member who individually holds a CPA license.

  • Financial reporting, including SEC reporting
  • Internal controls
  • Cash and working capital
  • Fractional CFO and controller leadership
  • Systems expertise in Oracle, SAP, BlackLine and Workiva
